Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of karvon.academy and the Karvon app. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. General
The service is operated by Karvon LLC. These terms form an agreement between you and us from the moment you start using the site.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
Karvon is an online IELTS preparation platform: drills, mock tests, AI grading of essays and speaking, an AI tutor, and progress tracking.
We do not administer the IELTS exam and are not affiliated with the British Council, IDP or Cambridge. Scores shown in the app are practice estimates.
3. Your account
Accounts are created with a phone number (SMS code) or Google. One account is for one person — do not share your login.
Users under 16 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Acceptable use
When using the service you must not:
- copy, redistribute or sell the platform's questions, texts, audio or other materials;
- scrape data using automated scripts or bots;
- use the AI tutor or grading system for purposes unrelated to IELTS preparation;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or compromise the security of the system.
5. Content and intellectual property
All questions, texts, audio and design on the platform belong to Karvon LLC.
The essays, answers and recordings you produce remain yours. We process them only to give you a score and feedback, and to improve the quality of the service.
6. About AI scores
Writing and Speaking bands are produced by AI. They are estimates and may differ from a real IELTS result — typically by around ±0.5 band.
They are not a substitute for an official certificate and do not guarantee an exam outcome.
7. Payments and subscription
All features are currently free. When paid plans launch, their price, payment process and cancellation terms are set out in the Public Offer.
Free-plan limits (for example, the number of gradings per day) may change with prior notice.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms — with notice, or without notice in serious cases.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time; data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee your exam result, any particular band, or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses such as a missed opportunity.
10. Changes and disputes
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page and the “last updated” date changes. We email you about material changes.
Disputes are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan and are resolved through negotiation first.
