Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file your browser stores. This page lists the cookies we use, what each one is for, and how to remove them.

1. In short

We use no advertising cookies and sell no data to ad networks. The cookies we do use fall into three groups: strictly necessary, preferences, and analytics.

2. Strictly necessary

The site does not work without these, so they cannot be switched off.

  • Login session (Supabase Auth, named like «sb-…-auth-token») — remembers who you are. Removed when you sign out.
  • Session refresh — every request checks whether the session is still valid.

3. Preferences

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you chose (Uzbek, Russian or English). It is the reason the site has no /uz or /ru in its URLs.

4. Analytics

When analytics is enabled, PostHog sets one cookie (named like «ph_…_posthog»). It exists so we can see which pages get used — essay text, Speaking recordings and your answers are never sent to PostHog.

PostHog's servers are in the European Union. With analytics disabled the cookie is not set at all.

5. Third-party services

If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those cookies.

6. How to remove cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies). Blocking the strictly necessary ones makes signing in impossible.

If you delete the language cookie, the site falls back to your browser's language.

7. Questions

Questions about cookies or your data: use the contact form on the site (/contact) or karvon.app@gmail.com. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
